My Story
Hi, I’m Louise, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Bennu Bloom Healing was born during a turning point in my life—a moment when, after a long period of darkness, I finally began to feel a spark of hope. I was learning, healing, and finding balance, and I felt called to share this journey with others. I truly believe that each of us has the capacity to heal, and that we all deserve to live with more joy, peace, and ease.
It’s often said that trauma is not just what happens to us, but the lasting harm that results. The word "trauma" comes from the Greek word for "wound."
As Dr. Gabor Maté puts it:
“Trauma is a psychic wound that leaves a scar. It leaves an imprint in your nervous system, in your body, in your psyche—and then shows up in multiple ways that are not helpful to you later on.”
In one way or another, we all carry trauma. Some experiences are small and subtle, while others—what we often call “big T” traumas—can deeply affect our health, our emotions, and the way we live our lives.
On top of that, we’re living in a world that moves fast. Our days are full of obligations, stress, and distractions—work, parenting, anxiety, worry, overwhelm. I believe that all of this is stored in the body.
Until we slow down, restore balance, and regulate our nervous systems, true healing can’t begin. Many of us have become so disconnected that we no longer even know how our bodies truly feel.
I’ve been there. For a long time, I was disconnected from myself—carrying pain, physically and emotionally, with no idea where to turn. I thought if I just got stronger physically, I’d feel better emotionally. I pushed my body with intense diets and exercise, hoping for change. But instead, my body pushed back. I was stuck in a loop of stress and pain.
It wasn’t until I took a step back that things began to shift. I enrolled in a college course on Holistic Healing and Complementary Therapies and just before that, I attended a shamanic plant medicine ceremony. That moment marked a deep awakening. I became more conscious of my thoughts, my beliefs, and how they were shaping my reality.
Awareness is everything. Without it, we repeat the same patterns over and over. As Carl Jung said:
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Bennu Bloom Healing is here to offer you a safe space—a place where you can pause, breathe, release, and begin your own journey toward wholeness. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, combining knowledge and modalities that support body, mind, and spirit.
My work draws from a variety of practices, including Massage, Fascial Release, bodywork, energy healing, and shamanic traditions. Most importantly, the work I offer is somatic—it helps bring you back into your body, where true healing happens.
When we quiet the mind and connect with our bodies, we start to understand what we’ve been carrying—and what we’re ready to release.
I believe that healing is a personal and empowering process.
You have the wisdom within you.
My role is to help guide and support you, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.
There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. What works today may shift tomorrow, and that’s okay.
Together, we’ll create space for whatever you need in the moment.
Welcome to Bennu Bloom Healing. I look forward to walking beside you on your healing path.
